You know that Crunchyroll series that you've kept on your queue because you started it forever ago and you haven't had time to finish it cause you're just THAT lazy? Yeah, that's what this series was for me.
It definitely wasn't one of those series with a binge-able feel to it and yet I can't say that I didn't enjoy it. Sure the opening and the ending wasn't to my taste like some other series. But the show was definitely relatable on so many levels.
As a young working adult, I can feel for the characters that have to deal with the shenanigans of work life. Office romance, dealing with the customers and the quirkiness of your coworkers, the random chance encounters of seeing them outside of work. Its basically real life, but...not. It was a nice way for me to reflect after work and think, "HEY, something like that happened to me. That's funny."
The animation is clean including the opening and the ending. Especially when you're watching it on Crunchyroll's 1080p. But its just, the music. Its the music that really makes a show for me. Something that will make me spend the extra couple of minutes to watch the opening all the way through and to give me the drive to find a copy for my phone on those long drives.
And I think that, with the almost too real story line really made me not want to finish it. But don't let that discourage you, see for yourself how this show is. The series is currently being streaming on Crunchyroll. Link below.
